Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) celebrates its Founders Day annually on March 9th, marking its founding on March 9, 1856, at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. It is the only national social fraternity founded in the Antebellum South, dedicated to the principles of friendship, scholarship, and service.
